Naples beaches are open

Naples beaches are open and just as beautiful as ever following Hurricane Ian. The storm caused the beaches to close, but they’ve been open for several weeks. Guests are once again enjoying the amazing sunsets and Gulf breezes!
Some people have been concerned about traveling to the Naples, FL, area after Hurricane Ian hit the area back in September. But there’s no reason to be. This is still a great vacation spot!
Although some areas sustained significant damage, much of Naples was spared. And the hard-hit areas are well on their way to recovery. Those are mostly residential neighborhoods where people are still repairing their homes.
At the Inn at Pelican Bay, we were lucky.
We’re happy to welcome our usual seasonal guests, as well as a few insurance representatives and others helping with storm recovery.
The closest beach to us has been open for weeks. Vanderbilt Beach is only a short walk or shuttle ride away. Guests enjoy beautiful sunsets, walking the beach or just relaxing under an umbrella with a good book.
